      That’s basically it! I think the human element is really important these days because so many people are pitching the same script. You need something more to make your email stand out from the dozens or hundreds of pitches a blog can get a day.

      It does also depend on how big the blog is. The smaller the blog the less pitches they get, and the more likely a copy and paste script will work.

      You just want to spend a bit more time getting to know the blogger and customizing the email if they are a really big deal!
