Today we’re going to talk about the five best places to sell your handmade products wholesale online.

Selling wholesale is a great option for sellers who want to increase brand awareness, have a consistent income source, and sell their items in bulk – which means more profit for your shop!

Hi, my name is Mei and I help makers, artists and designers make a living selling their products online. So, let’s get started!

1. Faire

I have never actually sold on Faire but I just chatted with them last week and will be trying them out.

They’ve been doing virtual trade shows and the last one they did in August was a huge success!

When I asked the Faire rep how they were able to simulate a live event online, she said they focus on offers. Meaning, sellers were encouraged to give a 10% discount on orders to wholesale buyers, and Faire would match that discount, so buyers would ultimately get 20% off.

Are you thinking of using print-on-demand?

If so, you’re probably debating between Printful or Gooten. In this post, I’m going to show you some of the pros and cons of both, specifically with pricing, integration, and product quality.

Hi, my name is Mei and I help makers, artists and designers make a living selling their products online.

Why Choose Print-on-Demand?

As you know I use Shopify and with my husband’s new personalized art shop that we started in 2019, we use both Printful and Gooten – each for different reasons.

Printful and Gooten are both free to set up and don’t have a monthly fee or minimum order requirement.

That’s the beauty of print-on-demand!

Here’s where the integration does its magic.

Making a product listing that sells is hard work!

You have to make the product, take some great pictures, figure out your pricing, and then you have to promote it.

For many shop owners, writing the product description is the last thing on their minds–some even skip it altogether.

But you know this is important, otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading this post.

So today, I’m going to break down some of the most common mistakes I’ve come across when writing product descriptions.

I’ll cover just how you can transform each description into a sales-making machine.

Top 5 Favorite Money Making and Time Saving Shopify Apps

I want to share with you my current top 5 Shopify apps that either help me make money or save me a ton of time!

Hi, my name is Mei Pak and I help makers, artists and designers make a living from selling their handmade products online.

I use a lot of different apps for my Shopify site, and that’s one thing I love about using Shopify for my handmade shop.

I know a lot of people complain about Shopify because after you get a store setup, you have to add on all these extra apps to really make your store do what you want.

But I see that as a good thing because Shopify’s app store is so comprehensive.

Anything you want your shop to do, there’s probably an app for it.

This is a huge drawback with most of the other website builders that are Shopify competitors.

They usually have a much smaller app store so you can never really get your shop working exactly the way you want.

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post on my Ladder Discount sale that I do every year for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

I asked if you wanted to see a follow-up post to that where I share with you the results I got from implementing that Ladder Discount sale this year.

And I got a lot of comments saying that you would like that, so this is it!

I’m going to give you a report on how much money I made on my Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, what worked, and what didn’t.

Hi, my name is Mei Pak and I help makers, artists and designers make a living from selling their handmade products online.

If you haven’t seen my Ladder Discount post click here, I also have a video on this if you’d prefer here.

In a nutshell, it’s a one day only sale that I do once a year, the sale starts at 10am with a huge 35% off discount.

That lasts for two hours, and then the discount gets smaller and smaller as the time passes.

By the time it’s 11:59 pm, right before midnight, that discount is only 5%.

Then on Cyber Monday, I offer $5 off my subscription product, the Necklace of the Month Club for every month a person is subscribed, so it’s not just the first month’s order.

The Money

First, let’s talk about how much money I made.
