Howdy, quick question. Would you mind disclosing which blog platform you’re using and
do you recommend it? I’m going to start my own site (I’m hoping to build a reputation in the near future) but I’m having a hard time deciding
    amongst Squarespace/Wordpress/Wix/Tumblr and Drupal.
    What do you suggest?

    • Vasudha says:

      Hi Belfast

I prefer WordPress because it gives your website lots of flexibility (its open source) and there is an amazing community that is powering it. You can also buy your own domain name and host it on wordpress.org which makes it cheaper to own a blog

Square space and Wix are helpful because they let you know edit easily with a drag and drop menu. The downside is that you don’t have a lot of flexibility with your look and you probably pay more for the built-in domain. You also have to do everything within the squarespace brand

Tumblr is really easy to use (I love it!) but you can’t have your own domain. You will have to settle for Belfast.Tumblr.com, which could be good as a complement for your main website but unlikley to come across as being professional for a main website. If this is personal, this may not matter so much.

I have not used Drupal before but I have heard it could be complex.

      Hope this helps!
